Pfft, here's a mare someone didn't go wrong in naming. This stunning brat was a lightening bolt on the track with a speed that left audiences spellbound - there was nothing stopping her. But, like most racers, Anna was most unfortunate in that her owner, an oil baron, suddenly went bankrupt. After that things went downhill rapidly. She was sold to various homes, all of which couldn't handle her spirit and supposedly "nasty" nature. At last she ended up in a back paddock of a dead-end farm, with nothing to do but sprint back and forth. She certainly kept her owners on their toes though, once she learned how to jump the fences, open the gates, and charge through the hedges. It was in this situation, Anna waiting for something to do and her owners frusterated beyond measure, that I came across her. I still don't know what brought me to the far back of the stable, but for some reason I wandered away from the showgrounds early and ended up staring wordlessly as I watched this magnificent mare hurtling herself at every obstacle within her paddock. I was smitten. Thankfully, she was sold to me without a minutes hesitation - most likely, her old owners assumed I'd change my mine. But ORC is, more or less, built on the difficulty of strong horses like Anna... adding her didn't change anything.
