A pistol, that's exactly what Miss Columbia is. Put her on the track and she'll go until she drops - this girl just loves to run. More importantly, she loves to race. It's fine and dandy that she'll run, but if you have her side by side with another horse, she explodes, rockets off until they are choking on her dust. Columbia doesn't play around, she wins or tries her hardest to. Admittedly, she's not the best racer in the whole of Riata, but she's got spunk and a lot of heart, and that's what matters. She gives it her all and is happy with any color ribbon, so long as she gets a day out in the sun doing what she loves. It's what has made Columbia somewhat famous, her love of the sport. She's one of the few racehorses that is certain to go on until her body gives out on her - putting her in another field of competition would just be cruel. Running is her life. Our most relaxed, easy-going racer of this age, Columbia has dashed our hopes of having a filly to enter in the Triple Tiara in 08, but we love her despite that.
