One of my favorite paintings, and one of my most favorite mares. Star was a fantastic racer; she could have been a female Storm Cat had she been given the chance. It's an utter shame that she was retired due to bad, arthritic knees right before her first race, but I suppose her foals are well worth it. Khyrah, her oldest, is a talented, elegant filly currently tearing up the turf with King's Row guiding her. Star also produced one of ORC's favorite geldings, Shot Through The Heart, who is currently training for the 2008 Triple Crown. With so many gifted foals, Star is certainly a treasure we're happy to harbor. She's a whimsical, ballerina-like mare with a perfect build. From long, toned legs to a baby doll face and unique stripe, this shy mare makes pleasure enthusiasts cry - you wouldn't believe the offers I've been given to buy her!
