The resident sweetheart, Cat doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's enough of a sweetheart, now, that he can be left with our youngstock, playing 'mommy' and teaching them their manners the best he knows how. Before his gelding of course, Cat was another story entirely. Vicious and nasty, he was a snorting, biting, bucking bastard! That's why he was gelded, even if his breeding was impeccable - line's they'd hoped to pass on, but Cat was just impossible. After the surgery, he was a new animal completely. Sweet and mild, Cat was heavenly to handle. Not having a need for a gelding, however, Cat was quickly sold and ORC snatched up the oppurtunity to own him as a racer. His gentle nature has been a problem when trying to get him race - Cat will be giving kisses while his handler tries dragging him into the gate. But we adore him all the same, our big, gorgeous boy; and big he is! Cat has an amazing build, conformation to kill for, with a thickly muscled hind and chest, a long, tapering neck, and short, brutally strong legs.
