Chris is one stallion that demands a lot, but only of himself. He is a very spirited, dapper southern gentleman with a lot of training and little experience under his belt. Even then, this is not a horse you'd hand over to anyone; Chris needs a seasoned, experienced handler or he'll turn into one monster of a show horse. He'll fuss and bite and all but charge over the judge, the irritation of not being handled by a pro getting under his skin. But don't let that turn you off of this absolutely stunning beast, because you'll be missing out. Once you take away that novice and replace them with someone who knows their horses, Chris is instantly alert and patient, the best mount you could ever ask for. With the right rider he's as meek as a lamb, acting on the slightest command with grace and elegance.

Not to brag, but Chris is beautiful to look at. To be honest he could have been a professional halter horse; but of course he makes a fine hunter. All those spots blurring over the course in a knowing, masterful pattern. Even when he makes mistakes the judges often miss them, as Chris does everything with the firm conviction that he is right, and it is a conviction seen in those brown eyes of his, burning with passion for life. Another reason for Chris being in his line of work is very simple: He's an athlete, not a push-button halter pony. He wants to compete, to show his abilities off... and standing around looking pretty just doesn't cut it for him. He's too focused for that, so there you have it, our difficult, lovely beastie.
